Technical Writing:
We do manuals for industrial, agricultural, commercial, on-highway and off-highway products, equipment, and accessories. Types of manuals we produce include user and operator, service and repair, machine tool operation, installation and assembly instructions, special instructions and procedures, and parts books.
Whenever feasible, we’ll arrange to photograph your components or equipment on-site or in-house as space, location, and time dictate. Utilizing digital photography allows us to keep costs down and avoid the delays and expense of conventional film developing. Any digital or conventional photographic images, negatives, slides, transparencies, or previously printed materials, that you supply, we can scan, duplicate, clean up, crop, and enhance to emphasize the particular directions or instructions, as required.
We can also assist you in producing foreign language versions of these publications to fit your marketing needs. Although we do not provide translation services, we can collaborate with you to produce an English version and then merge third party translated text into the original format.
Technical illustration:
Our illustrators can create a variety of illustrations. These may include two-dimensional drawings and schematics, three-dimensional isometric drawings, or exploded-view assembly illustrations. We can begin with rough sketches, previously printed copies, photographs, actual products or components, or engineering blueprints to produce your illustrations.
Patent illustration:
"A Patent is a statutory right for an invention granted for a limited period of time to the patentee by the Government, in exchange of full disclosure of his invention for excluding others, from making, using, selling, importing the patented product or process for producing that product for those purposes without his consent."
At CEC we have good experience in the preparation of finished drawings that meet the Patent standards.
We currently work with patent attorneys, patent agents, inventors and engineers, in the preparation of patent applications in the medical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fields. With our extensive experience, we are able to develop drawings from a variety of reference materials including pencil sketches, faxes, engineering blueprints, photographs, and prototypes. We can develop drawings from products that are even still in the concept stage.
Our illustrators can supply you with a combination of schematics, isometrics, cross-sections, and cutaways that allow you a variety of ways to describe your product.
